Shola Ogudu, the first babymama of Nigerian award winning singer, Wizkid, took their son, Boluwatife, shopping for his excellent academic performance.
Taking to her Instagram page, the proud mother of one revealed that she decided to reward her 12-year-old son with a shopping spree because he passed his exams with flying colours.According to her, the reward would motivate him to keep up the good work in school, and even perform better in subsequent exams.
She posted a video of Boluwatife shopping for brand new sneakers at a fashion store, and he genuinely looked happy to be getting new items.
She described the experience as a ‘retail therapy’.
Shola wrote,
“When your kid promises to come home with a fantastic grades and goes ahead to do just that; it’s only right you tick some of his wishlist (It encourages them to do even better next time). Retail therapy with the coolest kid EVER”.
