Nigerian superstar singer Ibrahim Balogun, widely recognized as Wizkid, has decided to cancel his upcoming tour for the album ‘More Love Less Ego.’

This decision comes after the tragic loss of his mother on August 18, 2023. Initially, Wizkid had rescheduled his ‘More Love Less Ego’ tour to take place in the fall of 2023, specifically from September to December, due to unforeseen circumstances. However, he has now opted to cancel the tour altogether.

In a recent update, Wizkid’s management has issued an official statement announcing the cancellation of the album tour. They have assured fans who had purchased tickets for the show that they will receive refunds within a period of 3 to 5 days.

The post reads, “Hi there, This event has been cancelled… The event organisers have been in touch to let us know that the show on 14 October 2023 has been cancelled.”

“The following statement has been issued: “Due to unforeseen circumstances, I am cancelling my upcoming tour dates in Europe. I’m already working with my team and will be back soon.”

“We’ve already issued a refund for your booking – so you don’t need to do a thing. You’ll see a credit onto the method of payment you used within 3-5 days”.
