A Nigerian woman has expressed her perspective on the recent discussions surrounding Davido instructing his team to cancel comedian Shank Comics’ planned hangout with American streamer Kai Cenat.
Kai Cenat, an American YouTuber, has been in Nigeria for several days, accompanied by the renowned skit maker and other notable entertainers. They’ve been exploring various locations in Lagos, creating memorable experiences throughout their journey.
In a viral video, Davido’s team advised Kai not to go to the location organized by Shank Comics in Lagos, citing safety concerns. It’s worth noting that Davido had sent his Virgil Abloh Maybach Mercedes Benz to pick up the American streamer.
However, this turn of events left Shank Comics emotionally devastated. He clarified that the location was a government house, considered safe, and mentioned that he had invested a substantial amount of money in the studio they were heading to.
Shortly afterward, Shank Comics, feeling upset, decided to disembark from the car. The driver of the USA streamer then made a U-turn, heading back home.
In response to this situation, a woman expressed her opinion, stating that Davido’s actions towards Shank Comics were inappropriate. She added that it created a negative impression of Shank Comics for Kai Cenat.
In her words; “What Davido Did to Shank, Was Not Good at All, He has painted a Bad Impression of Shank to Kai Cenat, Even though Davido got an Information that the Place they where Going to was no Longer Safe what he should have done was Call Shank Personally and not tell Kai Cenat because Kai is the Guest,”
