Popular Nigerian comedian Cute Abiola expressed his feelings on social media regarding the first day of Ramadan. Yesterday, March 10th, 2024, the Sultan of Sokoto, Muhammad Sa’ad Abubakar, officially confirmed Monday, March 11, 2024, as the first day of Ramadan in Nigeria.

Ramadan, one of the five pillars of Islam, requires all Muslims to fast from dawn to sunset throughout the month, which typically lasts for 29-30 days.

As fasting commenced on March 11th, 2024, Muslims are expected to observe daily fasts from 5 am to 7 pm for the entire month.

Taking to his verified Instagram page, Cute Abiola shared that he is already experiencing the effects of Ramadan on the first day. He humorously mentioned feeling hungry and expressed eagerness for the day to pass, looking forward to breaking his fast at 7 pm.
