Nigerian singer Habeeb Okikiola, who is often associated with controversy and is better known as Portable, has once more demonstrated his playful nature in a recent online video.
In the video, Portable humorously embodies the popular phrase “Dollar na your mate” (meaning “Dollar is your equal”) in response to getting sprayed with some dollar bills.
The artist behind the hit track “Zazoo Zeh,” Portable, was captured performing at comedian Akpororo’s show held in Abuja.
During his performance, Portable does something unexpected – he halts his entire act when a young man at the front pulls out some dollar bills from his pocket and begins to spray Portable with them.
To handle the situation and not let himself be taken advantage of, Portable takes charge by pausing his performance. He then starts gathering all the dollar bills that were sprayed on him. This surprising act comes from his disbelief that someone would actually shower him with dollars, considering the current tough economic conditions in the country.
