Popular Nigerian singer and songwriter Tems in a recent video has addressed the speculations of being pregnant US rapper Future.

In September 2023, a video showing the well-known actress with a seemingly protruding belly led to a surge of pregnancy rumors on the internet. This actress had previously received an Oscar nomination and later attended Burberry’s Spring/Summer 2024 London Fashion Week event, where she looked stunning in a black gown paired with a luxurious purple coat and matching heels. Many onlookers couldn’t resist speculating about a potential pregnancy due to the way her dress emphasized her figure.
Fans wasted no time in embracing these speculations, fervently believing that she was expecting a child with Future.
During a conversation with American podcaster Angela Martinez on a radio show, Tems, who had recently shared her experiences during her time in Ugandan jail, was confronted with questions about the ongoing pregnancy rumors. She casually dismissed the rumors, even making a lighthearted comment that she felt as confused as a cat at a dog show. She suggested that the misunderstanding might have arisen because she had tucked her blouse into her pants, which accentuated a slightly protruding belly.
The singer, a Grammy winner, remembered indulging in a hearty meal on that particular day, which could explain the unexpected change in her appearance. She only became aware of the pregnancy rumors two days later when her own family members, including her mother, began probing for information.
It’s worth noting that these rumors gained momentum after Tems and Future celebrated their Grammy win in the Best Melodic Rap Performance category, with Future sending her a bouquet of white flowers that lit up the internet.
