Davido’s Logistics Manager, Israel DMW, asserted in an Instagram post that his estranged wife, Sheila, taunted him by labeling him a “slave” for serving his boss. However, Sheila has now refuted this claim.
Israel DMW, whose real name is Israel Afeare, had previously detailed the reasons behind the breakdown of his marriage with Sheila in the said Instagram post.
He alleged she taunted him saying “I derive dignity in begging my oga [Davido], and that I am fully a slave and that am disgracing her on social media.”
However, in a swift reaction via her Instagram story, Sheila denied the allegations, saying she never had problems with Israel serving his boss.
She said she only advised him to start a business or a legacy for himself. She wrote:
“I never had an issue with him [Israel DMW] serving his boss [Davido].
“As a wife, I only told my husband to get something doing! Get a business running, start building a legacy. [I] Gave him countless ideas on things he could possibly do.
“I just wanted him to have something going on for himself which his family fully supports as it’s a concern to everyone.”
In response to the initial set of accusations from Israel, Sheila took to her social media platform to counter the claims. Despite receiving advice against speaking out, she began by offering an apology.
Sheila refuted Israel’s portrayal of her family’s financial status, asserting that they are not poor, as he suggested. She disclosed that her siblings attend private schools, her parents manage multiple businesses, and she emphasized that they are not driven by financial motives or characterized as gold-diggers.
Suggesting allegations of domestic abuse, Sheila hinted that her estranged husband, Israel, was a perpetrator of emotional and physical abuse. She claimed that he would randomly lock her out of their home without cause.
Sheila further revealed that she had been falsely accused of taking pills to avoid pregnancy. Despite her desire for Israel’s personal growth, she expressed that he labeled her as controlling.
