Popular Nigerian skit maker Shank has finally addressed rumors surrounding his involvement in American streamer Kai Cenat’s visit to Nigeria. It was widely believed that Shank was Kai’s main host during his trip.
When Kai first arrived in Nigeria a few days ago, Shank gave him a warm welcome and guided him around various locations in Lagos. The two seemed to enjoy each other’s company as they documented their adventures on social media.
However, Kai was later spotted hanging out with big stars like Davido and Cubana Chief Priest, leading people to speculate that Shank had been replaced. Many felt this was unfair to Shank since he had facilitated Kai’s initial tour.
Shank has now spoken up about the situation on Twitter. He started by thanking God for making Kai’s Nigeria visit possible. Shank acknowledged that even if he wasn’t directly involved, the trip still would have happened through other creative individuals.
He expressed gratitude for the time spent with Kai so far and hopes for future collaborative projects. Shank’s comments seem aimed at dispelling rumors that he was upset over being replaced as Kai’s host.
