Spyro, the Nigerian singer known for his controversial nature, has taken issue with the lyrics of his fellow artist Shallipopi’s song.
Oludipe Oluwasanmi David famously recognized as Spyro, who often courts controversy, has expressed disapproval of the song lyrics by his fellow artist Shallipopi.
In a recent occurrence, Spyro was featured as a guest on the contentious “The Honest Bunch” podcast, where Nedu is one of the hosts. During the conversation, the artist behind the hit “Who’s Your Guy” critiqued Shallipopi’s lyrics, suggesting that they might pave the way for fraudulent activities.
Spyro asserted that people tend to embody and replicate what they witness and vocalize. He pointed out that Shallipopi’s inclusion of the phrase “para dey body” in his song about Elon Musk could potentially encourage fraudulent behavior to sprout from there.
The artist, who transitioned from Afrobeat to gospel music, emphasized that in the present times, there’s a misconception that the devil must appear with horns for recognition. However, the truth is that the devil can influence individuals simply by planting suggestions in their minds.
