A video capturing the enthusiastic welcome that Israel DMW gave to Nigerian music superstar Davido when his private jet landed in Lagos has caused quite a stir on social media.
Davido’s logistics aide, Israel DMW, was visibly excited as he, along with some airport officials, welcomed the Afrobeats sensation when his plane touched down at Lagos airport.
In the video, you can see Israel DMW raising his hands in a sign of respect and admiration before going all the way to the ground in a gesture of reverence as Davido descended the plane’s stairs. After that, they greeted each other warmly and shared some laughs, looking like old friends who go way back.
This video stirred up various reactions on social media. Some people felt uncomfortable with Israel DMW’s behavior, suggesting that he should tone it down a bit, especially now that he’s married.
