Isreal DMW, logistics manager for the Afrobeat star Davido, has swiftly responded to the swirling rumors about the possible breakdown of his 11-month marriage with Sheila David.
The well-known gossip source, Gistlover, had previously stirred up a storm by claiming that Isreal and his wife’s marriage had crumbled, accompanied by disturbing allegations of domestic violence.
As per the blog’s account, Sheila was already romantically involved with another suitor when fate led her father to cross paths with Israel DMW. Fueled by his wealth and connections to Davido, Israel allegedly pressured her into marrying him.
According to reports, Sheila supposedly learned more about her husband’s true character after they tied the knot. Gistlover claimed that she accused him of intrusive behavior, such as allegedly inspecting her undergarments for signs of infidelity, controlling the finances, and resorting to physical violence.
According to Gistlover’s claims, Isreal would often vanish from home for prolonged periods, subjecting Sheila to a distressing experience. This eventually drove her to seek refuge back at her father’s residence, resulting in the return of the bride price.
Israel DMW responded to these allegations through his Instagram story, where he disclosed his current location at Benson Danosa University in Benin City, Edo State. He strongly criticized Gistlover, leaving no room for ambiguity. He openly chastised internet users who had embraced the narrative of his marriage falling apart.
Israel expressed his bewilderment, struggling to comprehend why people had the audacity to believe Gistlover’s posts.
