Veteran Nollywood actor Mr. Ibu, has gotten the attention of prominent Nigerian celebrities such as Davido, PSquare, and Tunde Ednut with a pledge of them promising to sponsor his treatment abroad.
On October 18, 2023, Mr. Ibu made waves on the internet as he shared his distress from the hospital. This followed his birthday celebration at the hospital with his family. In a widely circulated video, Mr. Ibu expressed his desire to avoid having his leg amputated and appealed for financial assistance to address his health concerns.
In a recent update, blogger Tunde Ednut and a Facebook user named Kelly Hassino confirmed that Mr. Ibu would soon be transported abroad for medical treatment. The individuals willing to sponsor his trip to a reputable overseas hospital include Davido, PSquare, and Tunde Ednut.
However, it has been advised that Mr. Ibu should remove the public plea video for these developments to proceed.
