Nigerian Afrobeat star, Davido, also known as David Adeleke, has reportedly bought a $900,000 (around N690 million) house in Atlanta for his wife, Chioma Avril Rowland, as a special gift. This news comes after the recent birth of their twins, a boy and a girl, in Atlanta on October 9, 2023. There’s even a video circulating online showing the happy couple leaving the hospital with their new bundles of joy.
It’s worth noting that 11 months ago, Davido and Chioma tragically lost their 3-year-old son, Ifeanyi Adeleke, on October 31, 2023.
Investigative journalist, Kemi Olunloyo, shared the information on her Instagram story, revealing that the house is not only expensive but also beautifully furnished and tastefully designed. She did, however, express concern about the security risks of making such gifts public, advising Davido to be cautious about sharing such personal information online to protect his family’s privacy.
