Daniel Regha has voiced his criticism of Davido for attending the candlelight memorial event for the late Mohbad, all while still following Naira Marley, the head of the Marlian record label, on Instagram.
Daniel Regha became concerned when he saw Davido participating in the candlelight service held in memory of the late Mohbad. It’s worth remembering that some internet users had pointed fingers at Naira Marley, alleging mistreatment of the deceased singer during his lifetime after Mohbad’s passing.
On Twitter, Daniel Regha pointed out that Davido, who leads DMW, had yet to unfollow Naira Marley on Instagram. He went on to question how Davido could claim to seek justice while maintaining a connection with someone accused of mistreating the deceased.
In his words, he said: “Davido is attending Mohbad’s candlelight memorial but still following Naira Marley on Instagram? How can one claim to be seeking justice for the dead & still associate with one of people that assaulted ’em? This was how he supported the EndSARS protests then denied afterwards.”
