Ilebaye Odiniya, the winner of Big Brother Naija Season 8, has confirmed she received her prize money during an Instagram live session with fans.
The reality TV star earned N120 million for winning the All-Star edition of the popular show last October. Ilebaye told her followers the prize funds have been deposited.
Her revelation comes after Season 7 winner Phyna complained publicly that she hasn’t received the N100 million prize from her 2022 win yet. Ilebaye assuring fans she has access to the funds follows the outcry from Phyna over her unpaid prize money from last season.
Ilebaye said:
“I have received my [BBNaija prize] money. I haven’t even touched a tiny part of it. My money hasn’t finished. I haven’t touched my prize money. And this is a fact.”
Recall that few days ago, Ilebaye bragged that she has not touched her N120m BBNaija money yet.
