Renowned Nollywood actor, Adedimeji Lateef, is jubilant as he joins the esteemed group of Nollywood actors bestowed with honorary doctorate degrees in recognition of his significant contributions to the Art and Entertainment industry throughout the years.
Adedimeji Lateef, a seasoned performer in the Nigerian film scene hailing from Abeokuta, has been conferred with a doctorate degree in Art and Culture from Estam University, Benin.
The actor joyfully shared this momentous achievement with his fans and followers via his verified Instagram page on the evening of Monday, November 27th, 2023.
Expressing his gratitude, Adedimeji Lateef, visibly moved to tears upon attaining the prestigious title of doctor, encouraged others to persist in their endeavors without giving up. He asserted that recognition would eventually come their way, just as he has been acknowledged by the esteemed university.
In his words; “I was moved to tears as I got adorned in this beautiful robe. I have never been interested in fame, I just wanted to be happy with my craft and the lives that I inspire.

The irony is really interesting. I burn midnight candles to master my lines and perfect my expressions, now I’m getting rewarded with what could have been if I did it for classroom reasons.
